See, now it all makes sense why you posted bike wheels. I thought you meant the wheels were really skinny. Now I look stupid. . .

Black wheels then. I was going to suggest gold, but orange and gold clash unfortunately

I wonder how that Civic would look with a set of 70/100/19 tires up front, 90/100/16 out back?

Dat some fatass sidewall. I thought a 45 sidewall was pretty large but a 100!

Yup, that was the plan. Strangely no one on the forums has an orange FRS with these wheels in black.

Hmmm, that is kinda odd. Those wheels are super popular.

The tire is as tall as it is wide. Remember there's a tube in there.

Your telling me. Although everyone seems to get a staggered 18" setup. It annoys me cause that will cause understeer!

Ray's Gram Lights 57xtremes. Pretty much the greatest wheel to ever be designed ever, and luckily they are affordable!!

I'm not sure if $500 a wheel is exactly affordable.

They are like 400 per wheel, which isn't cheap but it isn't 3k for a set either. Smaller sizes are obviously less. I want to say that the size I want run about 1500. . . not too bad, but they aren't going to be as affordable as Rotas or XXRs and stuff. In return though the quality is pretty damn good as compared to XXR or other cheapo brands.

I should add, I meant to say fairly affordable.

Fair enough. All the 18x8.5's and such I could find were about $485 per wheel. So you're talking just shy of $2,200 after delivery and potential tax, slightly less if you go through a site that doesn't acknowledge tax. So certainly still not cheap, considering a set of Rota's will run around the $800 mark and cheaper sets can be had around the $600 mark. For what you get the 57's are sick though. If I had the cash to drop they'd certainly be one wheel I'd be seriously interested in.

That seems like a bit much for cast wheels. I found some 18x9.5s for 1650 on the ft86 forums but I can't find the thread. Either way the 17x9s should be around 15 to 1700. Not cheap but not out of reach to many. Even though Volks are nice, they are too damn expensive.

Oh if you're talkin private seller then yea you'll be able to find some for cheaper. Can't open that link so not sure what it's showing.
Anything from Ray's is gonna be expensive compared to other wheels though. Whether it's Volks or Gram Lights. You get what you pay for though. They're great wheels.

Wait, are you talking about getting wheels directly from Rays? Can such a thing be done? Cause I want in.
Very few venders carry the wheel, and even less carry it in the size I want, which is why I am in a hurry to get some. That and like you said, sell them for cheaper.
